Draw Tactical Notes

Tactical drawings help explain shape, movement, pressure, spacing, and decisions around a match moment.

Common Uses

  • Add arrows to show runs or passing lanes
  • Draw lines to explain spacing
  • Mark zones or reference shapes
  • Add text labels during review preparation
  • Attach drawings to clips for presentation

Keyframes

Threader supports drawing keyframes, so an annotation can be tied to a specific moment in the video. Use keyframes when the drawing should appear at a precise time rather than across a broad segment.

Workflow

  1. Pause at the relevant frame.
  2. Open the drawing tools.
  3. Add the tactical elements you need.
  4. Link the drawing to a clip if it belongs in a review package.
  5. Scrub the video to confirm that the drawing appears when expected.
